Between forest and field, in the heart of rural communities and far from the tourist track, Racy Shade Resort welcomes you with a one word motto : authenticity.
Situated near the entrance of Bardia National Park, our lodge is built in THARU (the local people) style. Our bungalows have thatched roof and mud walls.
We provide a quiet atmosphere with clean and comfortable lodging and restaurant facilities.
Our staff consists of native educated jungle specialists dedicated to make your wild life experience a unique and memorable one!
Racy Shade Resort is a perfect stop for overlanders.
We have 12 confortable rooms in local Tharu style, each with private bath rooms, fan, hot water, mosquito net, cupboard, hanger, electricity and free wifi.
Dining hall, bar, garden and surroundings
The dining hall is the meeting place. Situated in the middle of our camp, it is built in local style and open on the garden. Our bar is fully licensed and give possibility for the visitors to celebrate their daily observations.
We keep our garden green with flowers. Visitors can relax under the umbrellas, or on our local benches or on the grass.
Two steps from the gate, our fresh water stream is a perfect natural swiming pool.
